Naming conventions¶

• devices must have unique names
• device name must be meaningful
• group devices by rooms, purpose, zone

Rooms¶

• Kids Bedroom
• Bedroom
• Kitchen
• Living Room

Lights control¶

• <room> Light for the main light in the room: Bedroom Light
• <zone or location> <device type> for other lights: TV Area Lamp, Couch Strip, Island Center Light, Living Room Dimmer
